Dr. Marina Prichert obtained her undergraduate education at York University in the field of biology. She then attended the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005. Dr. Prichert subsequently completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre after which she practiced general dentistry for one year. She presently holds a specialty in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, completed at the University of Toronto, as well as a Masters in Science, which examined the effects of bisphosphonates on bone induction by bone morphogenetic proteins. Dr. Prichert is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. She is also a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
